Pros:

≫ Inexpensive

≫ Large mop, suitable for large areas

≫ Have both dry and wet cleaning pads

≫ Easy to use

≫ Multiple washable pads included

Cons:

≫ Not designed for use with cleaners

≫ It can't be used in tight areas

Microfiber has become a popular choice for cleaning tools. This synthetic material is amazingly absorbent and able to capture dirt and dust more effectively than natural materials like cotton. And the best part is, microfiber pads can be reused many times.

This extensive range of benefits is the reason why you should look for a microfiber mop like this Microfiber Wholesale model. The manufacturer claims it can provide professional-grade cleaning capabilities despite its affordable price tag.

There is nothing complicated about setting up this mop: it’s just a big cleaning head and a long handle. It's ready to be used when you unbox it. You don't have to do anything except attach a clean mop pad to the head.

In stark contrast to inexpensive mops that usually come with only one cleaning pad in the box, this model offers a dry pad, two wet pads, and two extra cleaning cloths.

You can start by dry-sweeping first with the dust mop, which is easy to attach with the help of the hook-and-loop fasteners. This dry pad alone can pick up a huge amount of hair and dirt from your floor before you actually wet-clean it with the mopping pad.

Keep in mind that the pad has to be wet beforehand. The mop head has an 18-inch width, making it virtually impossible to find a proper bucket to fit it in. Microfiber Wholesale doesn't require you to use soap with this mop.

Remember to wring the water out. The microfiber mopping pad doesn't need to be wetted regularly and is easy to push around. The only case where you will need to wet this pad again is when cleaning an extremely large area.

Even without using a cleaning solution, the mop still does a good job, making it the best wet mop for vinyl plank floors. The pad may not look very dirty, but you will see how much dirt it has picked up from your vinyl floors when rinsing.

Even large rooms should pose no problem for this oversized head. Each pass can cover a bigger area, and thanks to the swivel handle, under-furniture cleaning is possible as well. The only caveat is this big mop head makes the Microfiber Wholesale mop a poor choice when your floors have plenty of nooks and crannies.

When you're finished mopping, just pull the cleaning pad off by using the pull tab and tossing them into your washer. Everything can be done in a blink of an eye, and you don't have to touch and wring out the gross pads with your hands.

The pads will come out of the washing machine with a clean look. The only issue you may encounter is your washer may unravel some stitches on the dry pad.

Pros:

≫  Affordable

≫  Easy to use

≫  Highly maneuverable

Cons:

 Not for big liquid spills

 Not many extras included

The Rubbermaid Reveal mop ticks all the boxes when it comes to a mop for vinyl floors. It can be used on all sealed flooring, including vinyl and hardwood. Everyday mopping is possible with gentle microfiber pads, while the mop can handle deep-cleaning as well, thanks to the non-scratch scrubber on the cleaning head.

The convenient design of the Rubbermaid Reveal spray mop makes it easy to use and maintain, even though everything seems to be very standard. There is a wide cleaning head at the base, a water tank above it with a spray nozzle, and a trigger near the end of the handle.

The cleaning head holds microfiber pads using velcro straps, which you can remove by a small pull tab. This way, you don't have to touch the dirty pads after mopping.

The way the Rubbermaid Reveal works is in line with most spray mops, which basically requires users to spray the water on the floor and then scrub the pad over it.

The water is released in front of the cleaning head, and with a little pressure, you can help the mop pick up stuck-on debris or stains. When encountering tougher messes, flip the head over and use the scrubbing pad to agitate and lift them up.

The Rubbermaid Reveal mop performs impressively on several types of messes. Sticky substances like honey may cause this mop to struggle at first. But in the end, the Reveal can lift up most of them. It picked up most of the mud in just a single pass in my test. After a few more passes, there was virtually no mud left on the floor.

The spill mainly responsible for putting the Rubbermaid Reveal in second place is water—a surprising result. The mop can absorb a great deal of water, but if you have a huge spill, it also just pushes some of the water in the cleaning direction and spreads it out. Small liquid spills aren't an issue with this mop, but a larger mess can require you to replace the soaked-up pad with a dry one to completely clean it.

It may be the best spray mop for vinyl floors, but compared to the Microfiber Wholesale mop, the Rubbermaid Reveal is fairly poor in the accessory department. While you can buy many of them separately, Rubbermaid doesn't include anything in the box except for the cleaning and scrubbing pads.

O-Cedar Microfiber Cloth Wet Mop - Budget Choice

Pros:

≫ Incredibly inexpensive

≫ Decent mopping performance

≫ Simple yet sturdy construction

≫ Looped, tangle-free strips

Cons:

≫ Not always easy to adjust the handle's length

The O-Cedar wet mop is a superb performer despite its low price. Among the wet mops I've tested so far, it does the best job of removing liquid spills.

There is nothing much to worry about with this mop. Just unlock the handle by twisting it, and then extend it to your preferred length. The telescoping handle's maximum length is 58 inches—enough for even a tall person.

The great simplicity is one of its biggest advantages. Unlike a mop and bucket set, the O-Cedar wet mop has no moving parts. With simple components screwed together via two strong joints, this mop is almost fail-proof.

While it's fairly lightweight at just two pounds, there are no signs the O-Cedar would break under pressure. It didn't bend, collapse, or shift in my tests.

The cleaning head consists of looped microfiber strips. Most inexpensive cotton mops use strips attached to just one end of the handle. It's a cost-saving solution, but users tend to run into tangling issues with those mops. The looped strips on the O-Cedar wet mop are usually found on commercial models, preventing themselves from tangling up.

It's a great option when you need the best dust mop for vinyl plank floors. This mop works when the cleaning cloth is either damp or dry. When dry, it can soak up a great amount of water in addition to grime, grit, and slush.

With the damp cloth, the O-Cedar mop can still effortlessly absorb a large spill, even though the process may take a bit longer. This wet mop also has no trouble dissolving a sticky spill within a few passes.

The biggest source of complaints is the telescoping handle. Many people find it difficult to extend and collapse the handle because sometimes it locks in place very tightly.

Pros:

 Easy to maneuver

 Affordable

Good at picking up stuck-on debris and dirt

Cons:

Can't handle a big liquid mess well

No extras in the basic package

A spray mop like the ProMist MAX from O-Cedar is another great option you can consider for a fast everyday mop.

The ProMist MAX has a simple design without any moving parts. The top of the handle features a trigger when you can control the water output. Under it is the water tank, located near the mop head, where you can attach the cleaning pads with Velcro straps.

This spray mop doesn't come with many accessories. There is only one cleaning pad in the basic package, and that's it. No replacement parts or extras are available. You can purchase extra mopping pads directly from O-Cedar later or opt for more expensive options with extra refills when buying the mop itself.

The entire mop comes fully assembled, and the only thing you need to do is fill its water tank. Press the release button below it and pull it away from the mop.

The microfiber pads of the ProMist MAX have small strips whose job is to agitate stuck-on debris and dirt on your vinyl floors. The pad is double-sided, meaning you can turn it upside down and continue mopping with the other side.

Mopping with the ProMist MAX is a straightforward task. Just push the trigger to spray the cleaning solution or water onto the floor first, then push the mop to clean it off. The scrubbing strips on the bottom of the cleaning pad provide tougher cleaning power to remove stubborn dirt and debris.

The O-Cedar ProMist MAX spray mop has quite a good cleaning capability on vinyl floors. The cleaning pad is not the largest pad I've tested to date, which means when there is a large amount of water on the floor, the mop will spread the water around the cleaning path once it's reached its max capacity.

That said, the microfiber pad still soaks up an impressive amount of water compared to similar competitors. The ProMist MAX may not be the top choice for a large spill, but it can still handle day-to-day cleaning with ease.

O-Cedar EasyWring - Best Spin Mop

92%

Pros:

≫ Affordable

≫ Easy to use

≫ Lightweight

≫ Great wringing system

≫ Compatible with any hard floor and cleaning solution

≫ Washing machine-safe

Cons:

 Not for a large room

 Flimsy components

For a traditional mopping experience with a spin bucket, check out the O-Cedar EasyWring set. It has no groundbreaking features or technology, but this system can make your chore easier and faster than ever. It ranks among the best-selling household mop buckets on many online stores for good reason.

There is nothing fussy about the design and setup of the O-Cedar EasyWring mop and bucket set. In fact, the package is fairly small, even though it comes with a mop head, a handle, and a special bucket.

It's easy to assemble everything together. All you have to do is snap the handle into the mop head and screw it in. Then you're good to go.

You can use any cleaning solution of your choice, and in addition to vinyl floors, this mop can clean any hard floor. As O-Cedar uses microfiber to make the mop head, this mop can collect dust and dirt from your dry floors. This means sometimes you use it to go over a floor and get rid of any lingering dust and hair that your vacuum has failed to pick up.

To wet-mop your vinyl floors, dunk the mop head into the bucket, put it on the spinning compartment, and spin it with the foot pedal while holding the handle loosely. This spinning mechanism allows users to quickly remove as much water as needed, which may come in handy when you have friends visiting soon, for instance.

The O-Cedar mop can pick up plenty of dirt in just one pass. With the right cleaning solution, your floors will smell fresh and look clean afterward with no streaks.

The flexible mop head makes it easier to get into corners and under furniture. However, its small size also means it will take a longer time to fully mop your room. If you have a large room with few tight spaces, a bigger mop may be a better choice.

When you're done with mopping, you don't need to do anything more than with a regular mop. Just wring out the dirty water and empty the bucket. The spinning feature is useful again, making sure you can get as much dirty water out of the mop head as possible. Then you can pop it into your washing machine. The material will come out very clean and in one piece.

The biggest gripe I have for this spin mop set is its construction. All the components are made from plastic, raising questions about durability.

The telescoping handle doesn't live up to my expectations. It consists of three adjustable segments, but even in the longest setting, this handle still feels shorter than the 48 inches that O-Cedar claims.

Additionally, it is difficult to keep it extended. There is no way to screw in the top segment properly, so it may shrink while mopping.

Overall, if you're seeking a traditional inexpensive, no-frills spin mop, the O-Cedar set is your best bet. It's not a heavy-duty option, but the mop works wonders with vinyl floors, particularly when they have lots of tight spaces.

Turbo Microfiber Mop - Microfiber Mop For Pet Hair

Pros:

 Great value for the money

 Work great with pet hair

 Large swivel cleaning pads

 Long handle

 Several pads included

Cons:

≫ The default scrubbing pads are not compatible with vinyl floors

The Turbo mop is another good microfiber mop choice. Just like the Microfiber Wholesale product, it's a simple solution for most household cleaning jobs when it comes to vinyl floors.

This simple, hassle-free mop has gathered surprisingly wide acclaim from customers. Some even call it "the best microfiber mop for vinyl plank floors" and my tests prove that it can totally live up to the hype.

The Turbo model has a similar look to most mops that use microfiber pads. However, there are a few unique key features that make it stand out from the rest of the pack.

For starters, it features an 18-inch cleaning head—almost double the width of traditional mops. This puts it in the same rank as commercial-grade models and means you can use the Turbo microfiber mop on large areas comfortably.

The long telescoping handle and full 360-degree rotating head guarantee more maneuverable cleaning actions as well, even for tall people.

The plush, machine washable cleaning pads are another highlight of the Turbo mop. The manufacturers provide two regular pads for everyday mopping or sweeping as well as two scrubbing pads for tougher messes. These durable pads can last for up to one hundred washings, after which you can purchase extra pads at a low cost from Turbo to continue using your mop.

Pet owners will be thrilled to hear that the Turbo mop works wonders with lingering hair on vinyl floors. It can catch any pet hair your vacuum has missed—a deal-breaker if you have shedding dogs or cats.

What I don't like about the Turbo is its scrubbing pads, which are a bit too harsh for delicate floors like laminate or vinyl.

Pros:

≫ Compatible with several hard floor surfaces

≫ Big cleaning head for faster cleaning

≫ Ergonomic design

≫ A bottle of cleaner included

Cons:

≫ Some products can leak cleaning solution

In addition to a reusable microfiber pad and flat head, the Bona spray mop comes with a built-in sprayer. They work together to make sure your dream of a squeaky-clean home can come true for as little money as possible.

The mop head is 16.5 inches in width, placing it among the biggest household mops on the market. You can find larger models, but this size alone will allow you to clean much faster compared to regular mops. The plus point is you can do this quickly, thanks to its high maneuverability.

The lightweight yet sturdy handle has a secondary grip for both extra control and cleaning power, while the rubber corners can protect furniture from dings and scratches.

On top of vinyl flooring, the Bona spray mop is also the best mop for laminate floors and other hard floors, including ceramic, sealed porous marble, terrazzo, and linoleum. With a few stroking motions and your floors will be polished with a fresher look.

Like most models on this list, the Bona mop is a money-saving option as you can reuse the mop pads several times. Bona even provides a big 34oz cleaner bottle to refill the mop's cartridge. Of course, you're free to use only water to mop your floors. But this cleaning solution can get rid of stubborn grime and dirt while keeping your floors streak-free and rinse-free.

Be aware that some units have a leaking problem. In such cases, you should contact Bona's customer service and ask for a replacement.

Bissell SpinWave Wet and Dry Cleaning Robot - Best Robot Option

Absorbency
91%

Pros:

≫ Automatic vacuuming and mopping

≫ Can avoid carpets

≫ Has a companion app

≫ Many cleaning formulas included

Cons:

≫ Expensive

No voice control

While Bissell has been producing regular wet and dry vacuum cleaners for a long time, the SpinWave marks the first time the American manufacturer entered the market of double-duty robots.

With a 3.25-inch height and 12.25-inch diameter, the SpinWave has pretty standard dimensions, similar to many other robot vacuums. But it's one of the best looking cleaning robots I've ever seen. If you're a fan of all-white designs, the SpinWave will be a great buy.

The light ring around the top doesn't just add to the overall sleek aesthetics but also functions as an indicator showing the machine's status. It will pulse slowly when charging, for example.

The SpinWave comes with two separate tanks. There are two circular pads at the bottom of the wet tank. In mopping mode, they spin and scrub floors with plain water or a cleaning solution.

Several solutions are available for different purposes, including sanitizing, pet multi-surface, and multi-surface formulas. Bissell restricts the use of third-party cleaners, saying they may damage the machine and will void its warranty.

According to the instructions, the charging dock has to stay at least 40 inches away from any objects on all sides. Once the dock has been plugged in, you can place the robot on it and switch it on for the first charge, which may take up to five hours.

In the meantime, you can install the companion app and connect the robot to your phone. Bissell provides no remote control, so this app is the only way to control it remotely and utilize all the smart features.

Installation is fairly straightforward. Just search for “Bissell Connect”  on your phone's app store and create an account. It will ask some questions, such as if there are any pets, upholstery, stairs, or carpets in your home.

The vacuuming mode of the Bissell SpinWave does a great job collecting dust, pet hair, and other debris from hard floors and carpets. Mopping is where this robot truly excels.

In this mode, the SpinWave can mop and sweep at the same time. Keep in mind you should run a vacuuming session first before turning the mopping mode on.

The mopping tank has two lines indicating how much water and formula you should fill it with. If you have area rugs on your vinyl flooring, don't worry. The SpinWave can detect them and avoid them in mopping mode. It's hard to believe that this useful feature is difficult to find on most robot wet-and-dry cleaners.

The multi-surface formula provided by Bissell should work fine with your vinyl floors. Even after just one pass, you'll notice the difference in cleanliness compared to other robot models.

The secret of this amazing capability is how Bissell designs the SpinWave, which has spinning pads and carries a separate water tank for mopping. On the other hand, many robots can use only water and mop with a stationary pad. You would need a few passes to clean your floors properly without leaving any streaks.

Compared to a traditional manual mop, the Bissell SpinWave is a much bigger investment. In a market where most robots can't excel at both vacuuming and mopping, this is truly a gem. It’s the best mop for cleaning vinyl floors when automation is your top concern.

Bissell Crosswave - Best Powered Choice

92 %
Easy to use
95%
Easy to clean
94%
For hardwood floors
92%
Absorbency
88%

Pros:

≫ No scrubbing required

≫ Can vacuum as well

≫ Great performance with many debris types

Cons:

≫ Much more expensive than manual mops

≫ Struggles in tight areas

The Bissell Crosswave is positioned somewhere between traditional mops and a robot model like the SpinWave. You still have to push a tool across your vinyl floors, but the job of scrubbing is done by the machine, not you.

This is a corded household wet and dry vacuum with multi-surface cleaning capability. The Crosswave can handle anything, from area rugs to hard floors like vinyl. You can switch between the two modes (vacuuming and mopping) with the push of a button.

Like the SpinWave, the Crosswave has two water tanks: one for clean water and one for dirty water. This design makes sure that your vinyl floors only receive clean water and formula. The button that dispenses the cleaning solution is located on the handle, and on hard floors, the Crosswave releases a greater amount of cleaning solution.

This machine did great in all of my mopping tests regardless of the debris I used (soda, honey, and mud).

I chose soda because it is a common spill that you may need a mop to clean it up from your vinyl floor. Overall, the Crosswave mops it well if the cleaning head can access the spill with ease. In corners or baseboards, however, the big plastic casing around the brushroll seemed to prevent the machine from getting close enough and doing its job.

You will need to apply extra pressure to remove sticky substances like honey from your floors. Still, two or three passes and the Crosswave can completely get rid of it. In a similar manner, dirt and dust pose no problem for this machine and become virtually non-existent after just one pass.

The suction power of the Crosswave in vacuuming mode is no joke: it can pick up almost everything on a hard floor. Kitty litter is one of the types of debris that most vacuums struggle to remove. But this is not the case with the Crosswave.

How To Choose the Best Mop for Vinyl Floors

Vinyl floor is properly the easiest to maintain floor type. That is why many people choose it to make their home look great. However, that does not mean you should be careless when picking a mop to clean the vinyl floor.

It's very safe to use most mops on vinyl floors, which are water-resistant and durable. Whenever possible, opt for damp mopping. This is your best bet because an overly wet mop can lead to sitting water on the vinyl planks, which can get into their seams and make your floor warp and peel. Also, avoid abrasive cleaners and brushes as well as hot steam. These options can damage the protective coating.

When you know which feature a good vinyl floor mop should have, you can pick one easily among all the tempting options on the market. Even though they can all be good vinyl floor mops, only the model that meets your requirement can be your best mop for vinyl floors.

Make sure you consider these factors when choosing the right mop for your vinyl flooring.

Type

Mops for household cleaning are available in a wide range of designs to suit the variety of flooring. Steam, sponge, spray, flat, strip, and string mops are the most common types of mops, all of which you can use on vinyl floors.

➜ String mops: These tools have the classic design most of us are already familiar with. With a mop head consisting of mostly cotton strings, they are widely used thanks to their scrubbing power, affordability, and absorbency. However, the high absorbency of string mops is also the reason they're prone to mildew and slow to dry.

➜ Flat mops: These mops come with a cleaning pad attached to a flat head. They're easy to use, convenient, and lightweight.

➜ Strip mops: For the most part, strip mops look the same as string mops. Instead of cotton strings, their head consists of synthetic fabric strips, which tend to dry faster and have good cleaning potential. The synthetic nature of strip mops makes them less prone to damp smells and mildew as well.

➜ Spray mops: With these mops, you don't need to carry along a spray bottle or a bucket for a cleanser as their handles are already equipped with a spray mechanism. People usually mount these lightweight tools on a flat mop, making this combination an ideal choice for everyday cleaning.

➜ Sponge mops: This traditional style features a sponge head. The best sponge mop for vinyl floors should be sturdy and excel at scrubbing stubborn stains and grime, offering a deep-cleaning capability on various sealed hard flooring.

➜ Steam mops: These choices aren't the best option to clean vinyl floors, even though they can deep-clean pretty well. The hot steam from these mops can damage your vinyl flooring's adhesive or get into the seams and cause moisture damage.

➜ Spin mop: If you do not like to scrub the floor with your force, a spin mop is a perfect alternate. This powered model usually has two rotating pads run on electricity to help you remove debris and polish the vinyl floor simultaneously.

➜ Robot vacuum mop: For people who do not have time to clean the vinyl floor themselves, a robot vacuum mop is necessary to keep the floor in good condition. This smart device can vacuum and mop the vinyl floor to perfection without you being present. You can even guide it to clean by your voice or via an app. Everything is automatic with this vinyl floor mop.

Avoid the use of steam mops on vinyl floors

Avoid the use of steam mops on vinyl floors

Mop Head

The material of a mop head is an important consideration when choosing the best mop for vinyl floors because it has a big impact on the cleaning power, texture, and absorbency. Because overly abrasive scrubbers or brushes can damage a vinyl floor's finish, a gentle mop head is a better choice.

Sponge, microfiber, synthetics, and cotton are common materials for mop heads.

Usually used in string mops, strands made of cotton are highly absorbent and can soak up a great deal of dirt, spills, and water from a messy vinyl floor.

On the other hand, newer synthetic materials like nylon and microfiber have both great scrubbing power and absorbency. The best part is, synthetic mop heads dry faster than those made of cotton, reducing the chance of musty smells or mildew developing. Microfiber is particularly popular in modern mops thanks to its ease of use, low cost, and durability.

The sponge is highly absorbent as well. The texture of sponge mop heads allows them to scrub the most stubborn stuck-on messes.

Another important factor about the mop head is its shape. You need to consider the size of your vinyl floor when it comes to this factor. Some mop heads are wide which is too big to get in tight corners of a small vinyl floor. On the contrary, a small mop head may make the cleaning process longer.

The cover material of the mop head is also important. It should be made with resilient material to stand against impact. The best thing you can find is a mop head with rubber corners to reduce the force when your mop pumps into the wall or furniture.

Wringing Mechanism

Vinyl is waterproof, but virtually all vinyl floors are only water-resistant to a certain degree. That is why a sopping-wet mop head is a bad choice for them, even when it’s the best mop for luxury vinyl plank floors. Only clean vinyl floors with a damp mop unless you want moisture to get into the seams and damage your flooring.

You will have to touch a dirty mop when mopping without a wringer

You will have to touch a dirty mop when mopping without a wringer

Usually located on the bucket or handle, a good wringing mechanism can prevent the mop from oversaturating your vinyl floors. With a bucket wringer, you will need to manually press the mop head to force excess water to come out. Meanwhile, a handle wringer comes with a twist or lever mechanism you can use to wring the mop head out.

Some bucket wringers feature a spinning mechanism, which can spin the mop head at high speeds to remove excess water. Users usually control the spinning by a foot or hand pedal.

When choosing a wringing mechanism, you need to consider which type is easier for you to do. People with arthritis will have a hard time with those feet pedal spinning buckets. Meanwhile, some people are not strong enough to use the wringing handle. If you find it hard to do both of these, then you should not get traditional mop models because they usually do not have supported wringing mechanisms.

Handle

Manufacturers usually use wood, aluminum, stainless steel, and plastic to make mop handles. It's actually important for the handle to be sturdy, as when you do deep-cleaning and hearty scrubbing with a mop, the handle needs to take on immense pressure without breaking or bending. Most high-quality mops have wood or metal instead of plastic handles for this exact reason.

That said, plastic still has its uses too. It's suitable for making smaller elements, such as spray triggers, levers, buttons, or handgrips. In addition to those ergonomic additions, many handles also feature soft foam grips and a curved design for better comfort.

It is recommended that the handle should not be too lightweight so that you do not have to put in more force while scrubbing. A handle that has a little weight is also easier to control and would feel steadier in your hand. Normally, a handle that is not too lightweight is also more durable during impact.

Adjustability

It would be better if you have an adjustable handle, which adds to the comfort and ergonomics of the mop. It's difficult to control a too-long handle, while you can suffer from back pain if you stoop over a mop regularly.

Height-adjustable handles are always a better choice

Height-adjustable handles are always a better choice

A handle with an adjustable length can fix those issues, especially for a multi-purpose mop. Some models include accessories like dusters in the box to extend the capabilities of the mop. You can attach those cleaning heads into the telescoping handle, for example, to carry out similar cleaning tasks, such as dusting the ceiling or walls. In all cases, a height-adjustable handle makes those household jobs more comfortable and less labor-consuming.

Maneuverability

It's easier to clean every corner of your house with a maneuverable mop. It can reach into every nook and cranny, allowing for a thorough clean.

Not all mops are created equal when it comes to maneuverability. For instance, lightweight spray and flat mops usually have a thin profile, meaning you can slide them under your furniture more easily. The rotating head on those mops also allows them to change direction and get around obstacles.

Likewise, you can easily swipe your textured vinyl floors with spin, strip, and string mops. They usually feature thick fibers, which can reach under furniture and into corners.

Electric models are typically on the heavy side. The bigger design makes them less maneuverable and not ideal for cleaning tight spaces. However, the powerful scrubbing capability can make up for this and make electric mops a good choice for very dirty floors.

But since electric models like spin mops have a momentum that drags you forward, they are not ideal for the elderly or people who are not good at quick reactions. You must be very careful about this problem to prevent unwanted accidents while cleaning the vinyl floor.

Extras

Common additional features include washable mop heads, dust pads, extra mop heads, and multi-functional mops.

While some mops have a disposable mop head for greater convenience, others feature a reusable one, making them an eco-friendly and cost-saving pick.

Multi-purpose mops can handle other cleaning tasks in a household, such as dusting ceilings, walls, and floors. Microfiber is a popular choice for hard floors like vinyl not only because of its cleaning power but also its versatility. You can use microfiber mops for both wet-mopping and dry-dusting without issues. Wet-and-dry vacuums take on the same problem by incorporating both mopping and vacuuming in a single device.

Some attachment that comes along can be super useful. For example, a non-scratch scrubber can help you get rid of stubborn stains while keeping the surface of your vinyl floor safe. Some steam mops have scent discs included or a compartment where you can add your favorite scented cleaning solution to give your room a good atmosphere after a cleaning session.
