Like the V11, the V6 is also a cordless, ultra-lightweight stick. All the components, including the dust bin, cyclones, and motors, have a combined weight of just around 4.6 pounds. This has counted any extra attachment, but even with the cleaning nozzle and extension ward, the Dyson V6 is still incredibly lightweight and maneuverable. Additionally, Dyson also provides a combination tool, a mini motorized tool (for pet hair and ground-in dirt), and a soft dusting brush. You can lock those tools into place and switch between them easily with the touch of a button.

While this flexible wand still can't help the IONFlex stay fully upright, it has solved this issue to some extent. Vacuuming under low furniture is a bit awkward, however. It's a little tricky to turn and move the cleaner back and forth.

DuoClean is a common technology in many Shark vacuums, and it also has a place in the IONFlex. The two brushrolls on the cleaner head work great on both bare and carpeted floors. According to Miele’s claim, this extends the cleaning reach of the C2 Hard Floor, which is 33 feet. Most other manufacturers give this information based on the length of their vacuums' power cord. But Miele doesn't do that and opts for a combined length of the wand, hose, and the power cord instead. This makes the cleaning radius look longer while the power cord is just around 21 feet. This cord is retractable like most Miele canisters, and you can also tap a pedal on the machine to retract it back to the vacuum.

This is a lightweight vacuum for hard floors, but it doesn't mean the C2 Hard Floor can't work on other floor types. The main mechanism behind this ability is its variable suction feature. Many other models on the market also have something with a name like that, but most of them just provide a slide for you to adjust the suction level. They work, but not very energy efficiently.

Miele uses a different approach. There is a rotary dial on the front face of the C2 Hard Floor with 6 different suction settings on it. This 27% gain in capacity extends the time between emptying times almost by a third. The emptying system is also a bit different. You can find a pull tab on the machine. It opens the bottom door of the canister and pulls up the cyclone assembly, pushing out debris and dust. You still need to bang and push it a bit to ensure nothing is left in the canister.

The motorhead variant doesn't have two cleaner heads like the Absolute. Instead, it only comes with the direct drive cleaner head which, according to Dyson, can work all kinds of flooring.

Dyson uses lithium-ion batteries to power the V7. This ensures the suction level is "fade-free", meaning it keeps a stable level through the vacuuming session and doesn't depend on the amount of power left in the batteries. Users can benefit from a constant, powerful performance until the machine runs out of power and needs a recharge without a slow decrease in suction.

The Dyson V7 Motorhead works well with all types of debris on carpeted surfaces. However, it may run into some troubles with large debris on bare floors. The machine, for instance, usually pushes fruit loops around instead of picking them up.

There are totally three filters in this vacuum: 2 pre-motor and 1 post-motor. You can easily access the pre-motor filters by detaching the dust canister. Both of them (one sponge and one felt) are rinsable when you need to clean them. Just remember to dry them completely (wait for 24 hours or so) before putting them back into the machine.

From what I've seen, the sponge filter tends to get dirty quickly, so you may need to clean it separately more often. The post-motor filter is also easy to access. It's a HEPA filter that sits below the canister, and as it's exposed to less dirt, so you don't have to clean it too often.

All of those filters stay in a "Anti-Allergen Complete Seal" system according to Shark. It's basically a completely sealed filtration system to make sure no unfiltered air can escape back to the air. This is a crucial feature that you must make as your top priority when you have to deal with pet hair constantly or a member of your family suffers from allergic conditions.

This lightweight vacuum cleaner is also equipped with the Zero-M technology to prevent hair from wrapping around the brushroll. This canister is quite small at 0.26 gallons, but it's really not surprising since the Bissell Aeroswift is a compact vacuum. You can remove and empty the dust canister easily with the touch of a button.

Bissell provides two foam filters in the box: a standard (yellow) and a Febreze (black), both of which fit to the filter tray located below the canister. The black Febreze filter can eliminate strong odors in the air while you're vacuuming, but this freshening capability decreases slowly over time, especially after you rinse and clean it in water several times. Neither the standard filter or the Febreze is a HEPA one.

The brushroll of the Bissell Aeroswift is motorized, but there are no on/off controls for it. It keeps rotating in an upright position, so be careful or you may damage your carpeted surfaces. Make sure not to lean the vacuum forward and let the brushroll touch your carpets.
